The upcoming Asia Cup will be held in Pakistan and Sri Lanka in a hybrid model for the first time. Four matches will be hosted by Pakistan and nine matches will be played in Sri Lanka. India will play all their matches in Sri Lanka as they will not be travelling to Pakistan due to the friction in India and Pakistan relations. Pakistan was meant to be the sole host of the upcoming Asia Cup but now will be given joint hosting rights for the tournament along with Sri Lanka.

The matches will be played in the ODI format as a build-up to the World Cup in India. The Men in Blue won the Asia Cup the last time it was hosted in the 50-over format in the United Arab Emirates. India beat Bangladesh in a closely contested final. Sri Lanka won the Asia Cup in 2022 at the same venue when it was played in the T20 format ahead of the 2022 T20 World Cup. The tournament will be full of runs as it is played in Asian conditions. Here are the top five batting partnerships in the multilateral tournament.
