Thalapathy Vijay and Venkat Prabhu starrer ‘GOAT’ OTT platform release details revealed!

‘The Greatest of All Time’, or ‘GOAT’ for short, starring Thalapathy Vijay and Venkat Prabhu, is one of the most eagerly awaited movies of 2024. It is anticipated that the action-entertainment film will be released later this year.

The film’s creators have already released three teaser posters and revealed the movie’s stellar cast, which has increased the anticipation for the movie. According to multiple media outlets, the film’s over-the-top (OTT) rights were sold to a major streaming platform for an outrageous sum. According to southfirst.com, Netflix has acquired the streaming rights for the movie, which will take place after its theatrical release.

Thalapathy Vijay & Venkat Prabhu to create magic:

The first on-screen partnership between Venkat Prabhu and Thalapathy Vijay is in ‘The Greatest of All Time’. Meenakshi Chaudhary, Jayaram, Yogi Babu, Prabhu Deva, Mic Mohan, and many others play significant roles in the ensemble cast of the movie. Abyukta, the daughter of seasoned cinematographer Manikandan, was recently revealed to have been cast as Thalapathy Vijay’s daughter in the movie, making her debut as well.

It was recently announced that the film is ready to start its second schedule, which will be shot in Moscow, Russia, following a successful first schedule. Under the auspices of AGS Entertainments, Aghoram S. and Archana Kalpathi have provided financial backing for the movie, and Yuvan Shankar Raja will be handling the soundtrack. The film’s camera is operated by Siddhartha Nuni, a.k.a. Captain Miller, while Venkat Raajen handles editing.

‘GOAT’s arrival on Netflix is just one more feather in an already impressive hat. The streaming service had earlier this year revealed that it would release a plethora of Tamil movies on its platform after they were shown in theatres. These included the films Thangalaan by Chiyaan Vikram, Vidaa Muyarchi by Ajith Kumar, Indian 2 by Kamal Haasan, Revolver Reeta and Kannivedi by Keerthy Suresh, Amaran by Sivakarthikeyan, Maharaja by Vijay Sethupathi, and many more. Leo by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Thunivu by Ajith, and Maamannan by Mari Selvaraj were also just released on the platform.
