Bangalore have not had the best of times at the Women’s T20 League. They have had only one win and four losses. Bangalore will be hoping that the same does not happen to the Men’s side when they play in the Indian T20 League this season. Bangalore coming into the season retained most of their squad except a few buys and some minor tweaks. Michael Bracewell has been replaced by Will Jacks in the side.
Before the start of the season, Bangalore will have an unboxing event. It will involve the likes of AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle who will arrive at the M Chinnaswamy stadium. Both the greats have been icons at Bangalore. De Villiers has won the hearts of Bangalore with his 360-degree batting over the years. Gayle is very famous with the folk tale of hitting balls into Cubbon Park and has entertained the fans thoroughly with his big hitting.

“It’s gonna be historic, it’s one of the things we discussed as an idea first. When the Indian T20 League goes back to Bangalore why not honor two of our Legends (AB de Villiers & Chris Gayle), do something with them, and then have a practice session where all people can come & watch. Do something that was actually close to my heart. It’s coming together nicely now,” Virat Kohli said about the unboxing event as quoted by Cricket Addictor.
“I can’t wait to be back with them, the trio back after a quite some years. It will be a nostalgic moment for the fans which they will cherish & enjoy. I think they deserve to see all 3 of us on the stage. We played some very strong special innings for Bangalore. We played together for so long & I can’t wait for it,” Kohli added.
It will be great event for all the Bangalore fans. It will be a nostalgic moment. There might be big chants of ‘Bangalore Bangalore’ at the Chinnaswamy stadium. Red and Gold will chant fervently and the atmosphere will be electric. These chants will reverberate throughout the whole of the Chinnaswamy stadium. It will be a great start to Bangalore’s Indian T20 League season.
