MS Dhoni spotted enjoying US Open action during his time away from Cricket

Mahendra Singh Dhoni has finally found some time away from the game of Cricket. The former Indian captain who is known to keep a low profile has been enjoying his time away. MS Dhoni recently led Chennai Super Kings to their fifth IPL title win. The former Indian captain was recently spotted in the United States of America.

The former Indian skipper was recently seen enjoying some fine tennis action. MS Dhoni was spotted by the cameras enjoying the fast-paced action taking place at the US Open 2023. MSD as he is fondly called was in attendance for the game between Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev.

MSD turns into a spectator 

World Number 1 player Carlos Alcaraz of Spain was facing off against Alexander Zverev of Germany. The quarter-final game saw the World Number 1 take an easy straight-sets win over his opponent. During the change-over break the cameras were focused on the players taking their drinks break. As the cameras zoomed in there was a familiar face that was visible. It was none other than MS Dhoni who was enjoying the fine tennis action on display. The former Indian captain was seen with a few friends enjoying the fast-paced action on the court.

World number 1 Alcaraz made it to the semi-finals of the 2023 US Open with a one sided performance against Zverev . The 20-year-old beat Zverev in straight sets as the final score read 6-3, 6-2, and 6-4 in favor of the Spaniard. Alcaraz converted all his break points in the game and showed his dominance over his opponent.

The semi-final draw will witness unseeded local player Ben Shelton take on World Number Two Novak Djokovic. The other semi-final will witness Carlos Alcaraz take on Danill Medvedev of Russia. The likely prospect of a final showdown between Djokovic and Alcaraz has already made the tennis fans come unglued with anticipation.

MS Dhoni the former Indian captain will be seen again in action during the IPL 2024 season. After leading Chennai to their 5^th IPL title, MS Dhoni had expressed his intentions to play one more season. The 2024 season of the Indian Premier League could very well be the curtain on a career that spanned nearly two decades.
