Kane Williamson and his wife welcomes home their third child

New Zealand star batter Kane Williamson and his wife have welcomed their newborn baby. This is their third child, a baby girl. They both have two more children, a son who is one year old and a three-year-old girl. The news of Kane Williamson’s third child came after a few days as Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma welcomed their second baby boy, who they named Akaay.

Kane Williamson took to his Instagram handle to post a photo of him, his wife and daughter in his hand and wrote; “And then there was 3. Welcome to the world beautiful Girl. So grateful for your safe arrival and the exciting journey ahead.”

For New Zealand’s three T20I series against Australia Kane Williamson was not available due to paternity leave. In the recently ended Test series against South Africa, he guided his team to the first-ever win in Test cricket against South Africa.

He had a brilliant form with bat as he scored 3 Test century in the two-match Test series against England. In the first Test match against South Africa, he was able to score twin hundreds as he became the fifth New Zealand batter to achieve this feat. Now he has scored 32 Test hundred which is most by fab four players.

Kane Williamson will be back in IPL auction

In his absence Australia white-wash New Zealand in a three-match T20I series. They will now play a two-match Test series against New Zealand starting from 29th February in Basin Reserve in Wellington. For the Test series, Kane Williamson will be back for the team while most experienced fast bowler Neil Wanger has taken retirement from cricket.

As the IPL 2024 is set to begin Kane Williamson will again see for Gujarat Titans colours. In IPL 2023 he missed the rest of IPL due to a knee injury in the opening match of the IPL. This year as Kane Williamson is available it has boosted the confidence of the Gujarat Titans team as they are starting a new era under the leadership of young India batter Shubman Gill. Kane Williamson’s captaincy experience will help Shumbman Gill as a player and captain in the upcoming years. Gujarat Titans will play their first match against Mumbai Indians on 24th March in Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
