Kane Williamson becomes the fastest player to reach 32 Test hundreds

In the home Test series against South Africa New Zealand batter Kane Williamson has been top of his form. He scored his 32nd Test hundred as it could be a match-winning century for his team. In the last seven Test matches, he has scored 7^th Test hundred and 32^nd hundred in overall Test matches. On Day 4 of the Test match on a tricky pitch at Seddon Park in Hamilton, he single-handedly shifted the momentum towards New Zealand.

Kane Williamson scored his 100 from 203 balls in the last session of Day 4 in the 2nd Test match. As New Zealand he chasing the target of 267 runs set by South Africa, Kane Williamson looked calm and composed as he took the match from the hands of Proteas. While his teammate didn’t give him support, he went on to score a hundred. While other batters struggle to get over 30 runs.

With this knock, he has scored his 3rd Test hundred from the last four innings. Former captain Kane Williamson looks to dominate the South Africa team and wants to win the Test series by 2-0. In the first Test against South Africa, he scored a twin hundred, as he became only fifth batsman from New Zealand to score two centuries in a Test match.

In the first innings of the second Test match before getting out to Dane Piedt he scored 43 runs. After scoring his 32nd Test hundred the fans in the stadium went on its feet and cheered his performance with the bat.

As he hits the 32nd Test century he has equalled the record of Steve Waugh and Steve Smith for most Test hundreds. He became the fastest player to score 32 Test hundreds and he also broke the record of Steve Smith of a 32nd Test century.

Will Young supported Kane Williamson from the other end as the duo made sure the team’s batting won’t collapse again as it happened in the first innings.
