South Africa won the second ODI against India on December 19 at St. George’s Oval Stadium. At the same time, the South African side bounced back greatly to level up the series against India in the second game. However, Aiden Markram-led South Africa was thrashed by India in the first ODI on December 17, and now both teams are just one win away from clinching the series.

On the contrary, star opening batter Reeza Hendricks piled up 52 runs and had a great partnership with debutant Tony de Zorzi, who scored his maiden century against India. Nevertheless, the opening batter scored 119 runs from 122 balls with six fours and six sixes, which helped them beat India with 45 balls to spare in the second game of the series. Besides the win, India and South Africa are standing at 1-1, and both teams are one win away from winning the series.
