The Pakistani Cricket Team is India taking part in the ODI World Cup 2023 tournament. Babar Azam and his team won the first game against the Netherlands in Hyderabad last Friday. The next game is on Tuesday as Pakistan takes on Sri Lanka in their second encounter in Hyderabad.

The Indian government has been called out for not granting visas to Pakistani Journalists. Zainab who is a noted cricket anchor was asked to leave India on Monday. The 35-year-old had just reached India to cover the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023 tournament.

This move has come after the Pakistani Anchor faced a legal complaint in India. The relations between India and Pakistan have been at an all-time low over the last decade. The sending back of Zainab is set to create more drama in the coming days.

Zainab Abbas was sent back to Pakistan after facing legal heat in India –

Noted advocate Mr Vineet Jindal took to Twitter recently and posted a copy of the complaint against Zainab Abbas. The complaint was addressed to the Indian Home Ministry as well as other noted government office-bearers. In a written complaint addressed to the Cyber Cell, Zainab Abbas had insulted the Hindu Religion on Twitter many times. Zainab Abbas was set to feature during the ODI World Cup 2023 as a presenter.

Mr Vineet Jindal wrote “Complaint against @ZAbbasofficial filed by advocate and social activist @vineetJindal19 with the Delhi Cyber Police. Requesting to lodge FIR under section 153A, 295, 506, 121 IPC and Sec 67 IT act for making derogatory remarks for Hindu Faith and beliefs and anti-Bharat statements”

The noted advocate also asked the Apex Cricket Body to remove Zainab Abbas from the presenters list. Mr Vineet Jindal also said that Anti Bharat people are no longer welcome to visit the nation. Once this came to light Zainab Abbas was asked to leave India and is currently in Dubai.

Zainab Abbas was set to be one of the presenters during the ODI World Cup 2023. The 35-year-old had taken to Twitter to share her thoughts on the upcoming India trip just a few days earlier.

Once the news went out there was more anger from the Pakistani side. The journalists and fans from across the border haven’t been granted Indian visas. The scribes will now have to ask questions to the players via phone applications during the entire tournament.
