The Pakistan side is on a roll in the Tri-Series which is being held in New Zealand. Pakistan won their second match on a trot as they beat the Blackcaps by six wickets. Harris Rauf and Mohammad Wasim Jr were the wreckers in chief for the Men in Green, as they picked up three and two wickets, respectively from their four overs spells, which kept the Kiwis down to a below-par total of only 147-8 in their 20 overs.

In the second innings, it was Babar Azam, who hunted down the target with an enterprising 79 from 53 balls. His innings had eleven boundaries. They provided Pakistan with the perfect platform and the finishing touches were given by Shadab Khan, who had a good performance with the ball as he gave away only 21 runs in his spell.

He then, in the second innings, played a vital hand of 34 from 22 balls, which had two fours and two sixes to ensure that there were no hiccups in the chase. Pakistan got to the target of 148 with nine balls to spare. But the man who had the most attention was Devon Conway. He put on an outstanding show of athleticism in the second innings. This happened during Pakistan’s chase.

In the second innings, Shadab walked across toward the off-side and played a ramp shot over Conway of Tim Southee’s bowling as the ball raced away for what looked like a definite boundary. However, Conway put up a great show in the field as he ran behind the ball and chased it. Conway pulled out a sliding dive and somehow managed to get his boots to the ball and keep it from running across the boundary rope.

The batter underestimated Conway as they were under the impression that the ball will go four but it was not the case and the batters ended up running only two.
