India went against South Africa in their third match at the 20-20 World Cup on Sunday. What was billed as a highly entertaining match between the two sides did not disappoint.

Featuring three high-quality pace bowlers, South Africa troubled the entirety of the Indian batting lineup bar Suryakumar Yadav. While India feared Kagiso Rabada the most, it was Lungi Ngidi who was a bigger threat to India’s batting.

Wayne Parnell, another South African fast bowler who often remained in the shadows of others, came up with an incredible performance against India. The left-arm bowler took three wickets in four overs with an economy rate of just 3.8 to have his stamp on the game.

While his wicket-taking deliveries are certainly fame-worthy, something that is getting even more popularity on the internet is his celebration of Suryakumar Yadav’s wicket. Parnell after getting Yadav caught out recreated football star Cristiano Ronaldo’s new celebration where he puts his hands in a napping position after scoring goals recently.

Ronaldo began this celebration as a form of relief after scoring after a long time. Parnell was also relieved after Suryakumar’s wicket as he was the only player creating problems for South Africa bowlers.

As for the game, it tip-toed in both teams’ favour. India looked down and out but Suryakumar got them into the game. Later Arshdeep Singh made a game of the one-sided match after he brought South Africa’s score to 24/3 in 5.4 overs.
