A strange moment occurred in the BBL 2023/24. Tom Curran got scared by an explosion of fire. The incident happened while the English cricketer was attempting to stop the ball from reaching the boundary ropes. The efforts of Curran were not going to stop the ball from reaching the boundary, as he was nowhere close to even getting remotely close to it.
It was the 14th over of the match. after the first 80 balls, Hobart had managed to score 89 runs losing 5 wickets against Sydney Sixers in the process. On a slow wicket, Hobart struggled to get going. particularly after losing the 5th wicket, the batters batted slowly. In the 14th over, Corey Anderson finally decided to take on the bowlers, as there was no point left in not attacking the bowlers.
With Chris Jordan at the other end, Anderson faced a full-length delivery from Moises Henriques. Anderson targeted the region straight over the bowler. The former Kiwi batter was looking to target the same region for some time in his stay in the middle.
