Mahendra Singh Dhoni had descended on Chennai’s shores some days earlier. MS Dhoni was received with great pomp and love and care by the Chennai fans. He is one of Chennai’s favourite sons ever since the inception of the Indian T20 League. The public in Tamil Nadu adores him to the fullest the fans in Chennai are excited to see him back at Chepauk and play what could be his last Indian T20 League season.
A picture of Dhoni’s biceps has been doing the rounds on social media. This has sent the fans into a tizzy. In the picture shred on social media. MS Dhoni’s biceps are in great shape and look very strong. The biceps almost bear resemblance to that of a wrestler. They are chiseled. This could mean that Dhoni might hit some monstrous sixes come the Indian T20 League. Harsha Bhogle too commented on the picture and said that fans could see Dhoni’s power game come alive for Chennai this season.
Chennai finished ninth in the Indian T20 League 2022 with just four wins
MS Dhoni has led Chennai to the playoffs in the Indian T20 League eight times. The Chennai skipper has lifted four Indian T20 League titles with the franchise. Chennai last lifted the trophy in 2021. The ‘Yellove Army’ in the 2020 season were 7th in the competition with 12 points. The had six wins and eight losses.
After a great 2021 season, they had a very tough season in 2022. Chennai were ninth on the points table with just four wins and ten losses. They had eight points to their name. The franchise will be hoping to start this season with a bang and go all the way. Chennai treats the players like family. The team will want to make sure Dhoni signs off on a high.
MS Dhoni has been with Chennai since 2008. The former India captain scored 4978 runs in 234 matches in the tournament. He has an average of 39.2 and a strike rate of 135.2. He has scored 24 half-centuries.

Just a thought: csk can use dhoni as impact substitute. While batting second they can substitute him out for a hard hitting batsmen. For all the love i have for msd we still need to acknowledge that he is not the same batter as he was before
