Watch: Star Australia batter David Warner plays Gully Cricket with kids in Mumbai
Warner had missed the last two Tests of the Border Gavaskar series 2023 due to an elbow injury.

After winning the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023, India are set to take on Australia in the three-match ODI series. The series will start on March 17 at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai. Ahead of the series, star Aussie batter, David Warner arrives in the city. Notably, Warner had missed the last two Tests due to an elbow injury.
Warner and his love affair with India are just unmatchable. He has openly called India his second home. Showering love once again, Warner posted a video on his Instagram. In the video, he can be seen playing Gully cricket with fans on the streets of Mumbai.
In the video, Warner can be seen batting while some fans were bowling him. Sharing the video Warner captioned, “found a quiet street to have a hit.” Earlier, after arriving in the city Warner shared a picture of a car selfie with some fans.
In the first two Tests of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, the Australian superstar struggled a lot against Indian spinners. He failed to capitalize on any opportunities and got injured in the second Test. This led him to fly back to Australia for a brief rehab. However, now he seems fit and will be there for the first ODI.
Notably, both Australia and India will play the first game without their regular skippers. Australia captain Pat Cummins is ruled out of the series due to personal issues. Notably, his severely ill mother passed away last week and this is the reason behind his absence.
Meanwhile, the Indian skipper is also not available due to family commitments. He will be attending the marriage function of his brother-in-law in Mumbai itself. However, he will join the team for the last two games and will lead them. Meanwhile, this is India’s last international assignment before the 16th edition of the Indian T20 League.
