Good news awaits the Indian fans, as the star batter of the team is all set to join the Indian team soon. Shubman Gill, who is one of the best batters currently, is set to rejoin the Indian team soon. Gill suffered a dengue fever before the inaugural match against Australia in the tournament. As a result, Gill did not get an opportunity to play Australia in Chennai.
Gill did not travel with the Indian team to Delhi for the match against Afghanistan. The Indian opener was hospitalized as a precautionary measure, ahead of the big games in the tournament. It was not clear if Gill would be with the Indian team for the big match against Pakistan. But the fans seem to have got their answers. Gill has landed in Ahmedabad for the match against Pakistan.
While it is still unsure if Gill has completely recovered from his dengue fever, the star batter was seen walking with regular ease. The Indian team is yet to give the final update on Gill’s availability for the match against Pakistan in Ahmedabad. But by the looks of it, one can expect Gill to be completely fit and soon be available for the selection.

Against Pakistan, Gill will be a crucial factor, if he gets to play the match. In the Asia Cup match against Pakistan, Gill had given an aggressive start for India against the likes of Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, and Haris Rauf.
Gill is almost sure to play the match against Bangladesh. It is to be seen is he plays against Pakistan. Gill was spotted in Ahmedabad airport, along with security personnel. The reports say that Gill will join the Indian team soon ahead of the match against Pakistan. If everything goes well, fans can expect to see Gill in action against Pakistan.
