After winning the first two T20 matches of the three-match T20I series against England, India played the third game on Sunday at Trent Bridge stadium. It turned out to be a high-scoring encounter with fans witnessing huge sixes and fours throughout the course of the game.
Besides witnessing a high-scoring feast, the fans also got another treat as former Indian skipper, MS Dhoni, made his presence felt inside the stadium. The 2011-World Cup winning captain had come to support the Indian Cricket Team during the game.
The fans got a glimpse of MS Dhoni as he was spotted having a chat with former India head coach, Ravi Shastri. The duo was seen having a conversation, most probably on cricket. An elated Ravi Shastri also took to his Twitter to share image with the legendary Indian captain.
“Great to catch up with the maestro who looks in fine fettle @msdhoni.” Shastri wrote on Twitter.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni is currently vacationing in England. Earlier, the Indian Cricket Board posted photos him having a conversation with the current Indian players inside the dugout. He also celebrated his 41st birthday, recently, in England along with his friends and teammates.
The former Indian captain was last seen in action playing for Chennai in the Indian T20 League 2022. Ahead of the start of the league, he handed over the captaincy to Ravindra Jadeja. However, the franchise exhibited disappointing performances under the new skipper and, thus, they handed over the captaincy to MS Dhoni.
Following the move, the rumours of a rift between Chennai franchise and Ravindra Jadeja surfaced on social media. To add more fuel to the fire, Ravindra Jadeja got ruled out of the Indian T20 League 2022 due to an injury.
Recently, the Indian all-rounder, once again, made headline with regards to the same. Apparently, Jadeja has deleted all the posts related to Chennai in 2021 and 2022 edition from his social media handle. Moreover, he didn’t wish MS Dhoni on his birthday on Twitter, something which he used to do every year.
