Virat Kohli skips optional practice session, visits homeopathy clinic in Dubai ahead of crucial encounter against Sri Lanka

Virat Kohli scored a crucial half-century in India vs Pakistan clash in the Asia Cup 2022. Later on, he decided to skip the practice session on Monday. However, it was an optional practice session in Dubai before they take on Sri Lanka later on Tuesday in a do-or-die game. As the two games are being played in a forty-eight-hour time difference, the team management only conducted an optional session.
Kohli visited Manjari Rao, a famous homoeopathy practitioner in Dubai at the Emirates European Medical Centre. Manjari Rao posted a photo with Virat Kohli at the clinic on Monday. However, it is still unknown as to why Virat Kohli chose to visit the clinic. It is important to note that Team India is not in a bio-bubble in Dubai. The players are free to go wherever they wish.
However, even though India lost to Pakistan in the Asia Cup Super-4 clash, Virat Kohli was back at his lethal best. He starred in a crucial 44-ball 60-run knock to take India to 181/7. However, some excellent batting by Mohammad Rizwan and Mohammad Nawaz ensured Pakistan romp home with a ball to spare.
However, Kohli’s return to form is a blessing for Team India ahead of T20 World Cup. With KL Rahul also back amongst runs on Sunday, there are many positives for Team India despite losing the game.
Last week, Kohli did look at his regal best in his approach against Pakistan at the start of the innings, but there was an element of surety in his game on Sunday against the men in green. He dictated play as and when he wished to and showed good signs that he is adapting to the team’s new template of T20I batting.
India faces Sri Lanka in a do-or-die clash today. If India loses this match, they will be out of the race for the Asia Cup 2022.
