Indian batters took good control on day 4 and continued the hard work that they had done on Day 3. Virat Kohli started the day on 54 and converted the start into a 28th Test century on day 4. Gill started India’s reply with a magnificent 128 off 235 balls with 12 fours and one six.  Kohli received wonderful support from KS Bharat, who made a quickfire 44 off 88 balls with two fours and three sixes.

The Test match at Ahmedabad on Day 4 made headlines for another Steve Smith move that has gone viral on social media. In the video, Smith can be seen breaking into a dance move as he shakes his hips.

Smith has made headlines with his antics on the field in the past as well. Smith gave a thumbs up to Jadeja in one of the Test matches in this series. He did this when Jadeja bowled a ball and beat Smith. That move did not please former Australia skipper Allan Border one bit.

Here is the video:

Smith led Australia to a nine-wicket win in Indore

Australia scored 480 in the first innings in the fourth Test as Usman Khawaja led with the bat with a well-paced 180 off 422 balls with 21 fours. Cameron Green made his first Test century at the Narendra Modi stadium. He scored 114 runs off 170 balls with 18 fours.

Nathan Lyon and Todd Murphy chipped in with the bat as well. Lyon scored 34 off 96 balls with six fours. Murphy scored 41 off 61 balls with five fours. Australia, under the captaincy of Smith, registered a 9 wicket win at Indore.

This was after Australia suffered a hammering at Nagpur by an innings and 132 runs. The Kangaroos lost at Delhi by 6 wickets. The men from down under have lost the three previous editions in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Two of those were held in Australia and one was held in India in 2017.

Smith had, earlier, trained like a hawk at the preparatory camp in Bengaluru for four days at the Alur ground. He faced Baroda based off-spinner Mahesh Pithiya who bowled on the lines of Ravichandran Ashwin.
