The Pakistan Super League has been witness to some thrilling encounters so far and has only been getting better. Quetta Gladiators played against Islamabad United where Gladiators is coached by Moin Khan who is Azam Khan’s father. Azam Khan smashed 97 off 42 balls which came against Gladiators. Azam hit nine fours and eight sixes.
When Azam got to the half-century mark he looked up to his father and gave a glance towards him to which Moin applauded the landmark but was seen keeping a stoic expression. Along with Azam’s blistering knock Colin Munro made 38 off 22 balls with one four and four sixes.

Asif Ali made 42 off 24 balls with one four and four sixes and Faheem Ashraf made 17 off 6 balls with two fours and one six to give the finishing touch which helped United get to 220-6 in their 20 overs. Odean Smith was the most successful bowler as he picked up 2-41 in his four overs.
In the second innings, the United bowlers got their plans on target as Fazalhaq Farooqi picked up 3-28 in his 3.1 over spell. Leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed who had a good Test debut for Pakistan picked up 2-21 in his four overs. Hasan Ali picked up 3-39 in his four-over spell. Shadab Khan picked up 2-24 in his four overs.
For Gladiators, Mohammad Hafeez made 48 off 26 balls with six fours and two sixes. Wicketkeeper batter Sarfaraz Ahmed made 41 off 36 balls with three fours and one six. Iftikhar Ahmed made 39 off 27 balls with three fours and two sixes. These contributions were not enough as United won by a big margin of 63 runs in the end.
Moin was a wonderful wicketkeeper batter for Pakistan as he scored 3266 runs in ODIs at an average of 23.80 and a strike rate of 81.30. He scored 12 fifties and also made the highest score of 72. He scored 2741 runs in white flannels for Pakistan. He scored four hundreds and 15 fifties in his Test career.
