Manchester City got into the record books as they clinched yet another Premier League title. This happened after Arsenal lost to Nottingham Forest 1-0. With City still having three games to go they have got a hand on the Premier League title already. City have a big lead of four points ahead of Arsenal. City are currently sitting on the top of the table. They have registered 11 consecutive victories to win another Premier League title since they won 2003-04.

City, which is managed by Pep Guardiola will face Chelsea in what will be their final home fixture in the season. The two teams will face each other on Saturday. City are now two wins away from creating history with a famous treble. If they win the FA Cup and the Champions League. The famous treble has been achieved by Manchester City in 1998-99. City will go up against Manchester United in the FA Cup final which will be played on June 3rd.

I think they will win the treble – Jamie Carragher on Manchester City

Next they will play Inter Milan in the Champions League final which will take place on June 10. If they win that it will be their first Champions League title. Riding on Erling Haaland’s goal scoring spree, City showed what they are made of as they have absolutely floored other teams this season and that includes Arsenal as well. They have shown that they are no pushovers and they mean business.

“I think they will win the treble. They’re going to be big favourites in that game against Inter Milan and the same in the FA Cup final against Manchester United. It feels like every season they’re in with a shout when we get towards April and May. Jamie Carragher from Sky Sports was bullish of City completing the treble given the red-hot form they have been in.

“I know they’ve got a great squad and great resources, but if they had a different manager they wouldn’t be reaching these heights. They’ve got one of the greatest managers of all time. He makes the biggest difference right now,” Carragher said on Pep Guardiola who has been the big force behind Manchester City’s great performances.
