Michael Jordan and Isiah Thomas of the Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons had a fierce rivalry in the 80s and 90s, and they played heavy-duty basketball. Since they bid adieu to the game, they have been having a go at each other. They have had long verbal volleys in public as well. The rivalry between the two was in focus in Michael Jordan’s last dance. In the documentary, Jordan has called Thomas an  a**hole.

Thomas now wants an apology from Jordan three years later. Thomas gave an explanation as to why Jordan should apologise for his wild comments.  He said this on the ‘All the Smoke’  Podcast. “I just want some people to be honest,” Thomas said. “I got no problem sitting down, talking with anybody. I live with love, peace, truth, honesty, courage, I stand on my square. I’m upright. I’d sit in any chair, and I’d talk to anybody. But some people, they ain’t telling the truth.

Michael Jordan will give up gambling but not apologise to Thomas-  A fan said

“You got on national television, and you called me an a**hole, and then you said you hated me. You said that on national television. Now, if you didn’t mean it, get on national television, and apologize for it. Now, if you meant it, let it ride as it is.” The big fight from the two and also Thomas’s apology request to Jordan created a storm on social media.

“Michael Jordan will give up gambling altogether before apologizing to Isaiah Thomas. MJ’ll give you good odds on that, too,” A fan wrote on Twitter. “Lmao now why the hell would Mike do that, he don’t care how you feel,” Another fan tweeted. Here is some background as to where the feud was created. Jordan and Thomas went head-to-head in the playoffs from 1998 to 1991 over a four-year period.

The Pistons emerged victorious in the first three games. Then the Bulls came in and after losing three, they swept the finals of the Eastern Conference.  During the fourth game of that series, Thomas and the Pistons staged a walkout of the court. This happened before the final buzzer came off. As per Jordan, this was a bad move by Detroit, and he carries the incident even now: “You can show me anything you want. It’s no way you can convince me he wasn’t an a–hole,” Jodan said about Thomas
