The India tour of Zimbabwe is starting soon. Like Always, the forthcoming tour will be used to test the bench strength of the Indian team against a Zimbabwe side, who has looked good having beaten Bangladesh. The series will be an interesting one to watch.

Deepak Hooda 

Deepak Hooda found a place in the Indian team on the backs of impressive performances in domestic cricket. The switch from Baroda to Rajasthan has worked wonder’s for him. Hooda had a good Indian T20 league with the Lucknow side as well, where he scored 227 runs and was also a very handy off-spinning. 

The biggest plus for Hooda is that he is middle order batter that India needs who provides solidity. He has scored 274 runs in T20I’s and 115 runs in ODI’s and if he is given a good consistent run in the middle order will help him get more runs under his belt and put up consistent performances for the Men in Blue.
