India will take on Zimbabwe in the third and final match of the three-match ODI series on 22nd August 2022 at the Harare Sports Club, Harare starting at 12:45 PM (IST). India sealed the series with a five-wicket win in the second ODI.

The visitors would like to continue the good work and end the series on a high. Zimbabwe, on the other hand, have repeated the same lackluster performance in the second ODI. The bowlers did give them a glimmer of hope but the score of 161 was never going to be enough. The hosts need to get things right quickly if they want to challenge the Indian side.

India’s bowling has been top-notch right from the get-go. Shardul Thakur, drafted into the side for the second ODI,  was the star with the ball, picking a three-for. Sanju Samson got a chance to bat and played a match-winning innings to take his side home.

Indian skipper KL Rahul would look to have a good outing with the bat ahead of the Asia Cup 2022. With the series in the bag already, expect India to make some changes. The likes of Rahul Tripathi and Shahbaz Ahmed could be in line for their maiden India caps.

Takudzwanashe Kaitano was slotted in the opening slot but could not make a significant impact. The bowlers showed a tough fight but need the batters to support them. The Regis Chakabva-led side would look to put on an improved batting performance in order to avoid a series sweep.
