Memphis Grizzlies player Ja Morant created a controversy after he brought out a shooting celebration after scoring against the New Orleans Pelicans. It was a match-winning Basket. A while back, he completed his 25-game suspension for holding a gun on social media. In two separate videos, he was caught doing the same.

While the shooting celebration attracted criticism, some also noted his performances. He finished with 31 points, seven assists, five rebounds with 50% shooting accuracy and two blocks. His comeback was marked by a game-winning performance against the New Orleans Pelicans, where he scored 34 points, including a game-winning floater at the buzzer.

In his first home game against the Indiana Pacers, Morant tallied 20 points and eight assists. He posted his first double-double of the season with 30 points and 11 assists against the Atlanta Hawks.

Morant’s return to the team has also brought back his scoring abilities and the belief that the team still has its leader, despite his lengthy absence and the negative attention that came with it.

Since his return, the Grizzlies’ winning streak has reached four games this season. As the team continues to ride its success, fans and experts alike are eager to see how Morant’s performance will impact the team’s overall success in the NBA.

My emotions are everywhere right now: Ja Morant’s father Tee

Recently, after Memphis won a game, Ja ran screaming into the team’s locker room.

“My emotions are everywhere right now,” Tee Morant told Andscape. “In God’s time, everything works itself out. I was just so elated for him to be back on the court and prove what he is here for. God touched my child for a reason. By the way, he’s back!

“I’m a little sensitive when it comes to my kids, period. The NBA needs to be aware. We back! The Grizzlies, we back! They finally let Cujo off the leash.”

“Having him back courtside, not only rooting for me, but this team, it was big-time,” Morant said.
