Big news has come in from the NBA as Giannis Antetokounmpo the big fish from Milwaukee and Ja Morant the big player from Memphis were down with injuries. The Los Angles Lakers made the right moves and were helped that Morant did not take further part in the match.

The Lakers played with extra zing towards the latter half of the game as they rode to victory over a 128-112 victory that they got against Memphis. On the other hand, Bucks were on the back foot after their Greek star went down in the first quarter. The lost 130-117 to an eighth placed Miami Heat. Antetokounmpo had an average of 31.1 points and 11.8 rebounds a game this season he had an NBA-best 58-24 for the Bucks squad while Morant had an average of 26.2 points for a Grizzlies team that was 51-31.

Feels like its one thing after another – Morant on his injury

Morant’s hand took the hard hit and he ran off to the locker room. He let out a huge shout and grabbed his hand even as he was writhing in pain. He made a sad exit after he scored 18 points. Taylor Jenkins the Memphis coach said that they would look to give Morant ‘one game at a time’.

Morant’s right hand was already sore and he did further damage to it in the fourth quarter. He had a hard landing after a high fall when he was heading towards the basket. “I’m in a good bit of pain,” Morant said after the game, declaring his status was “in jeopardy” for game two on Wednesday. “Feels like it’s one thing after another.”

“We’ll monitor him,” said Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer, who added an x-ray came back “clear” on Antetokounmpo came crashing to the floor. He was badly bruised on his lower back. That cut short his game night on Wednesday. “We have to wait and see what the doctors say… you’ve got to take it day by day and see how he’s doing and how he feels.”
