In a bizarre event, the basketballers switched to play golf at a charity event. There was an incident that Golden State Warriors shooting guard, Klay Thompson was involved in. This happened during ‘Capital One’s’ the Match on June 29 Thursday. Thompson was part of the event and he was going up against his teammate Stephen Curry. They had to battle against stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce who were stars from Kansas City.

At the event, Thompson did not get the required flow and rhythm while putting. When he played a drive, one of it went away from the course and hit a spectator on the head. After he played the drive, the NFL and NBA stars who were on show could not control their laughter and were dismayed as to how Thompson did not get his shot right. Seeing the fan in such a bad state, there were other who rushed to his rescue. There was no further news or update given with respect to the state of the fan.

On another note, Draymond Green was not really sure of Thompson’s golfing skills on the golfing range. Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce. were in hot form as they were no match for Thompson and Stephen. While a lot of people thought this came as a bolt from the blue, Draymond said it was not the case as he was not sure as to who Thompson’s golfing skills would hold.

“I’ve been checking in on Klay and making sure he’s working on his golf game,” Green said. “Making sure he really gets out there on the course and that his game is ready to go. Don’t come out there and be a let-down for Steph because I know Steph’s coming out serious as hell, and I would just hate to see Klay pull the team down.” Draymond said.

Draymond however said with a lot of surety that Stephen’s golfing skills were much more well-rounded. “The question is — has Klay been golfing every day? And the reality is, I don’t think so. Steph is a pro-level golfer,” Green said shortly before The Match. “There’s no way these NFL guys can compete, so I’m going to collect my money and I’m happy about that.” he added.
