The FIFA World Cup 2022 hosted by Qatar reached the quarter-finals stage and it was a clash of pride as Argentina toiled it hard against Netherlands. However, Netherlands’ star Wout Weghorst produced a scare in the 83rd minute as he opened the account for the Oranje.
It was not over as Weghorst brought his team back into the game minutes before the stroke of the final whistle, heading the match into a tie. Eventually, the match entered the penalty shootout phase as neither of the teams managed to score a goal and take the lead, with the scoreline remaining at 2-2.
