It is time for the business end in the Caribbean Premier League, where the Guyana Amazon Warriors will lock horns against the Barbados Royals. Both teams will battle it out in the 1st Qualifier to get an early chance to go into the final. Barbados Royals and Guyana Amazon Warriors have been in prime form throughout the CPL and will look to do whatever it takes to win the trophy.
Guyana Amazon Warriors
The Guyana Amazon Warriors had one of the most torrid starts in the CPL but turned the tables when the competition shifted to Guyana and in the home leg. They won four matches consecutively and ended the league stage in grand fashion by qualifying for the playoffs courtesy of finishing second on the points table.
Barbados Royals
They had the likes of Quinton De Kock, Jason Holder and Obed Mccoy in the side and the combination of local and overseas players worked well for Barbados in what was a dream run for them in the competition. They won eight out of their ten games, but the Guyana Amazon Warriors have been a thorn in the Barbados Royals because the Royals have lost both encounters against the Warriors.
