2. Sean Abbott

Sydney sixer player Sean Abbott is the leading wicket-taker of the tournament. Abbott is topping the chart as he picked 29 wickets in 15 matches with a bowling average of 14. He has been phenomenal throughout the tournament. He became the first and only bowler to pick 150 wickets in the history of the Big Bash League. He has been picked by the Umpires for the team of the tournament. He is one of the four players who received all eight nomination votes. Apart from him Steven Smith, Aaron Hardie, and Mathew Short also received the maximum votes.
