Brazil announced their 26-man squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2022 on Monday. The five times winner’s attacking talent were on full display as the team announced came with 9 forwards.

Antony, the Manchester United attacker who made a big-money move to the English club in the summer transfer window has also been included in the 26-man squad. This will be the first time that Antony will play in a World Cup tournament and understandably the player was ecstatic after his inclusion.

A video posted by Manchester United’s official Twitter handle has captured the moment when Antony’s name was announced for the Brazilian World Cup squad. All four appear to be in anticipation of the announcement at the start of the video and soon jump out of their seats as soon as Antony’s name is announced on TV.

Emotions run high as all four soon end up doing a celebratory dance following which Antony hugs his father. The lingering hug seems to portray happiness as well as relief.

Antony is one of 9 forwards in the Brazil team alongside the likes of Neymar, Richarlison, Vinicius Jr and others.
