Al-Hilal flew Neymar to Saudi Arabia in high-end private plane to conduct his medical

Former PSG star Neymar made headlines with his record transfer from PSG to Saudi Arabia-based club Al-Hilal. The star footballer was given Royal Treatment after he joined the Saudi-based club. The Brazilian was flown in a high-end. expensive private plane which had a value of 200 million Dollars. Neymar touched down in Riyadh to complete his transfer formalities relating to Al-Hilal. The plane which had a seating capacity of 400 was replaced by a golden throne as per reports.

Along with the throne, there were many bedrooms and also a dining room for 14 people. The plane has a lot of features like a lounge pit on the topmost floor. The sofas and seats were very posh and there were other top-class amenities available on the plane. Neymar signed the dotted line with Al-Hilal which was for two years. Reports say that the former PSG star could now close to 2.5 pounds every week. PSG also got a handsome profit from the deal involving Neymar. The French club pocketed a handsome sum of 86.3 Million Pounds.

“I have achieved a lot in Europe and enjoyed special times, but I have always wanted to be a global player and test myself with new challenges and opportunities in new places. I want to write new sporting history, and the Saudi Pro League has tremendous energy and quality players at the moment.” Neymar was quoted as saying by SPORTbible.

The likes of Sergio Ramos and Cristiano Ronaldo have all switched bases from their old clubs to the Saudi Pro League. When Neymar bid adieu to PSG, there were some wonderful words of appreciation from Nasser Al-Khelaifi. “It’s always hard to say goodbye to a player as exceptional as Neymar, one of the best in the world. I will never forget the day he arrived at Paris Saint-Germain and what he brought to our club and the project over the past six years,” he said.

“We have lived great moments and Neymar will always be part of our history. I want to thank Neymar and his family,” he added. There has been a lot of talk about the inflow of European players to the Saudi Pro League. Saudi Arabia has welcomed the greatest players of the world with open arms and through its lucrative contracts.
