Ramiz Raja was sacked from the post of Pakistan Cricket Board chairman on 21st December 2021. The announcement came a day after Pakistan suffered a humiliating 3-0 defeat at home in the Test series against England.

Under Ramiz Raja as the Chairman, Pakistan Cricket achieved great heights. The former Pakistan cricketers worked hard to make changes at the domestic level and also organized tournaments for Under-19 cricketers.

During his tenure, Pakistan beat India for the first time in the history of the World Cup. Pakistan reached the final of the Asia Cup 2022 and the 2022 World Cup 2022. The Men in Green were also brilliant in the 2021 edition of the 20-20 World Cup but were knocked out in the semi-finals.

Along with all he success, Pakistan tasted a lot of heart-wrenching defeats as well. They lost the home Test series and the only T20I against Australia. They lost the seven-match T20I series against England and, recently, suffered their first-ever whitewash in Tests at home.

England clean swept Pakistan 3-0 in the Test series and, as a result, Raja was sacked from his position. Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sherif, who is also the patron of the board, cleared the appointment of Najam Sethi as the new chairman of the PCB, according to reports.

A few days after being sacked from the position, Ramiz Raja announced his return to Youtube. He took to Twitter to announce the same but the fans have been trolling him heavily, since. Here’s a look at some of the reactions from the fans on the same.
