After 12th Fail, Vikrant Massey turns journalist to covers the 2002 Godhra train burning incident in ‘The Sabarmati Report’

The Sabarmati Report: On Tuesday, Vikrant Massey, who was last seen in the 2023 movie ‘12th Fail’, posted a video about his upcoming movie. A new clip from the movie, which also stars Ridhi Dogra and Raashii Khanna, shows Vikrant as Hindi journalist Samar Kumar, who is sitting in a studio and breaking the news about the Godhra train burning that happened on February 27, 2002.

“27th February 2002” appears in the final text of ‘The Sabarmati Report’ teaser. ‘The Sabarmati Report’ tells the story of what happened in the Sabarmati Express early on February 27, 2002, close to the Godhra train station in the Gujarati state, according to a statement from the film’s creators. The movie is scheduled to open in theatres on May 3, 2024. Enjoying the success of his most recent film, ‘12th Fail‘ is Vikrant Massey. The main character in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s film ‘12th Fail‘, played by Vikrant, is based on the life of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma.

After being released in theatres in October 2023, the film made its digital debut on OTT (Disney+ Hotstar) in December 2023. Notable actors like Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Kangana Ranaut, and many more have praised it. In addition to ‘The Sabarmati Report‘, Vikrant will appear in Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba, the second episode of Haseen Dillruba, which is scheduled for release in 2024.
