England pulled off an emphatic win by just 26 runs on Day 4 of the second Test that kicked off on December 9, Friday and many opined that it was the ‘Bazzball’ brand of cricket that helped the Three Lions to pull off the unbelievable win. As things stand, India are bracing for the Test series against Bangladesh set to get underway on December 14, Wednesday and the two captains met for a press conference ahead of the anticipated series.

Team India will be led by KL Rahul in the absence of Rohit Sharma, who will miss the first Test on the back of an injury that he sustained during the second ODI. Commenting on England’s win, the Indian captain Rahul said that the brand of cricket the Three Lions are playing is helping them at the moment. Not shying away from accepting their might, the right-handed batter claimed that all teams cannot play the same way, although he agreed that they can learn a thing or two from Ben Stokes and his men.

Really enjoying Test cricket being played that way: KL Rahul

Further, the talented batter added that India would look to play an aggressive style of game and claimed that they would attack from upfront. The Indian team would look to turn things around against the Bangla Tigers team, given that they are no more a vulnerable team. If at all India fail to win a match in the two-match series, one could argue that we might see a complete revamp of the team setup.

“To watch, it is really really exciting. Watching these two Test matches against Pakistan. I’ve been watching the games and it’s really exciting. Really enjoying Test cricket being played like that. Very fearless, very aggressive. Taking the game on,” Rahul was quoted as saying in a press conference on Monday.

“That’s worked for them. Each team has their own way. Obviously all teams can learn a thing or two from teams that are doing well and how they’ve really performed. It’s not always going to be the same approach. You turn up and (play) according to the conditions and where you are. One thing is sure, you’ll see aggressive cricket from our side,” he added.
