He had a tournament to forget as it felt like the Pakistan skipper had forgotten how to score the runs. The bowlers have figured out where to bowl to the batting superstar from Pakistan which has resulted in him getting out quickly. Babar Azam, even when he got set and looked good, could not convert. 

He was going for the big shots too early without any timing. In the end, he scored only 68 runs from 6 innings at an average of 11.33. His highest score was 30 and made all the runs at a paltry strike rate of 107.93. The ball never met the middle of his bat in the multilateral tournament. T20 has also never been his strongest format.
