India have suffered a big setback in the first Test match against England. England took a 1-0 lead in Hyderabad by winning the Test match by 28 runs. Another bad news comes as all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul have been injured. In the first Test match, Ravindra Jadeja pulled his hamstring while running and KL Rahul complained of pain in his right quadriceps.

The Indian Cricket Board has already named their replacement. Sarfaraz Khan, Sourabh Kumar and Washington Sunder replace KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja for the 2nd Test match against England. Here are Three potential changes for Team India in a second Test match against England.

1. Rajat Patidar for Shubman Gill

Rajat Patidar, a top-order batter, was called up to India’s Test squad when Virat Kohli withdrew from the first two Test matches against England for personal reasons. Rajat Patidar, another top-order batsman, may potentially be considered by Indian team management. Patidar’s participation may potentially compel the Indian squad to change their batting order. Rajat Patidar may replace Shubman Gill, who is in bad form.
