After losing the T20I series to West Indies 3-2. India will next turn their attention to a short tour of Ireland where 3 T20Is will be played.  The last time India played against Ireland they got a 2-0 whitewash against the Irish. The Indian squad looks slightly second-string without the presence of the big names. When it comes to the Ireland side they will come out with a full-strength team and try to hit India with all their might. India will want to get a much-needed series win after what transpired in the West Indies.

While Ireland will be looking to put on a great show against India, The visitors with their second-string side will want to make a mark for the upcoming T20 World Cup which will be held in West Indies and USA. It will be a great practice run for India, the Irish wi want to make a statement in home conditions. The wickets in Ireland will largely be batting-friendly with some assistance to the fast bowlers. Here are three Ireland players to watch out for in the T20I series.

Lorcan Tucker the right-handed hard-hitting batter primarily plays in the middle order for the Ireland side. He is famous for his big hitting. He will be a key player for his side. In 57 T20Is, Tucker has amassed 1013 runs at an average of 22.51 and at a strike rate of  124,44. The batter has also struck six half-centuries in his career. In good batting conditions on offer, he would want to score some runs against a non-first-hand Indian bowling attack.

2. Harry Tector

Josh Little has become a household name in India thanks to his Indian Premier League stint in 2023 with the Gujarat Titans. In the 10 matches he played he picked up seven wickets for the side. Considering Indian batters have had their problems against left-arm pace, he would be a threat to India. Little has played 58 T20Is and picked up 68 wickets at a wonderful economy rate of 7.58. To his credit, he also has two four-wicket hauls in the shortest format for Ireland.
