Rajasthan Royals and the Lucknow Super Giants are set to face off in the clash of the table toppers on Wednesday. RR are at the top of the tree, right now, with four wins and one loss. The men from the Pink City have eight points to their name.
LSG, on the other hand, are hot on RR’s heels at second place. LSG have won three games and lost two. They have six points. LSG have touched down at Jaipur. The game between the two will be played at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium.
Ahead of the game, a hilarious video of Nicholas Pooran, Avesh Khan and Ravi Bishnoi eating Dal Batti has been doing the rounds on social media. In the video, Pooran is excited to try out the Rajasthan based dish. Then Bishnoi shows Pooran the authentic way of eating the Batti with the dal. Pooran follows his method and really enjoys the dish.
Here is the video:

RR have, previously, played two games at Guwahati. They have won a game and lost a game there. They registered a dominating 57-run win over Delhi Capitals. The second game that they played was against Punjab Kings, which was an absolute high scoring thriller where PBKS beat RR by 5 runs.
RR have been a well-rounded side. There have been new addition this year to their squad as Jason Holder, Adam Zampa, Joe Root and Donvan Ferrera.
The Kumar Sangakkara-coached side are serious contenders to get their second IPL title after 2008. LSG, on the other hand, had a good season last year. The KL Rahul-led side had a top four playoff finish in 2022. LSG have a good bowling unit which has been firing on all cylinders. Their batting is also in great shape and has clicked. This contest promises to be mouthwatering clash.
Both KL Rahul and Sanju Samson have not been among the runs. They would like to get the big runs and ensure that their contribution comes in a winning cause. They would want to solidify their position at the top by getting a win at Jaipur.
Let us take a look at the reactions on Twitter on Pooran enjoying Dal Baati:

Dal baati is overhyped. There’s food far more authentic and delicious than this.
