WWE puts a screeching halt on reselling tickets for its upcoming shows

There is big news coming from World Wrestling Entertainment. WWE shut down reselling of ‘Summer Slam’ tickets for 2023. This happened after passes from the Premium event were open for sale last Friday. On Monday, it appeared that the company had shattered records when it came to the Wrestle Mania event. 32000 seats have been confirmed. So this means there is no luck for people who wanted to resell the tickets.

Wrestle Zone’s John Clark said that he put in a word to Ticketmaster. About the regular selling of tickets, “Resale for this event is not activated by the Event Organizer.”. This meant that the issue had been put to bed then and there. When it was brought to Clarke’s notice about the reselling option, he said that it never took this long and also that reselling happens a few days before the event.

The reporter from Wrestle Zone was appalled as to why there was no contact with Ticketmaster about the process. John said he was okay with the Summer Slam tickets not being there for resale. Then he said that it is very tough to keep a tab on how many tickets actually end up being sold. Summer Slam will be a high-profile event for Wrestling. The big names will descend on the ring.

Ford Field in Detroit Michigan will host the event. People in Detroit are really excited about the event. This WrestleMania will be a first for the city since 2007. HITC, the Standford-based company, said they are rapt with the fact of hosting the big event in Michigan. “We are excited for Ford Field to host WWE’s biggest event of the summer and look forward to the WWE Universe converging on Detroit to celebrate Summer Slam’s long-awaited return to Michigan,” the statement from the company said.

All said and done, the 2023 Summer Slam event is already making a lot of noise. The die-hard fans of WWE will hope that the event lives up to its billing. The Supporters will be hoping that this year’s Summer Slam will be better than what happened in 2022.
