He scored 35 off 36 balls before being caught at slips by skipper Shikhar Dhawan off Axar Patel. Brandon King (0) tried to play the slog sweep but failed. At 130/3, skipper Nicholas Pooran and Hope stitched a partnership of 117 runs. Pooran (74) was going well before being clean bowled down the leg side of Shardul Thakur. Rovman Powell came and scored 13 off 10 balls before becoming the second victim of Thakur.

Hope reached his third century against the Men In Blue and 13th overall. The right-hander scored 115 off 135 balls including eight fours and three sixes. He was caught at long-off by Patel off Thakur in the penultimate over. The home team scored 311/6. In reply, the visitors got off to a slow start as Dhawan (13) was playing too many dot balls. The former was finally caught at deep third man by Myers off Romario Shepherd. Gill (43) did well once again before being caught and bowled by Myers.
