Former India bowler Dodda Ganesh seemed unhappy with the decision to leave Sanju Samson out of the T20I squad for the tour of the West Indies. Whenever any squad of the Indian team is announced, the fans flood Twitter with tweets feeling sorry for the Kerala batter Sanju Samson. Despite making his debut way back in 2015 against Zimbabwe, Samson has just played 14 T20 internationals since then.
The wicketkeeper batter last played in the second T20I against Ireland in the recent series where he scored a magnificent 77. The batter wasn’t considered even for the recent T20I series against England as well and now his absence from the squad for the series against West Indies has left many fans annoyed.
Irked by the exclusion of the star batter from the squad the former player took to Twitter to express his disappointment.
“Ideally, you would want players like Sanju Samson in the T20s. Ignoring him for Shreyas Iyer is beyond cricketing rationale,” tweeted Dodda Ganesh.
