WATCH: Fans go merry as Indian Team entertains them with autographs ahead of Trinidad Test

India started off the West Indies series on a very bright note as they beat the West Indies by an innings and 141 runs in a great all-around performance. The Men in Blue will want to continue the momentum in the second Test at Trinidad. Ahead of the second Test,  Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli some members of the Indian Team met fans in Trinidad and gave out autographs to them. Some of the fans were dressed in Mumbai Indians jerseys.

The fans were pleased to meet their favourite cricketers. It was a great moment for them. Talking about the first Test match, India went all guns blazing against a West Indies unit that looked very deflated. The Indian bowlers were all over the West Indies in the first innings. Ravichandran Ashwin picked up 5-60 in the first innings. This meant that the Men in Maroon were bowled out for 150. Alick Athanaze was the best batter on show for the West Indies as he scored an eye-catching 47 off 99 balls with six fours and one six.

Yashasvi Jaiswal shows his magic with the bat on debut in Dominica. Jaiswal smashed a cracking 171 off 387 balls with 16 fours and one six. Rohit Sharma made 103 off 221 balls with 10 fours and two sixes. The two centurions ensured that India come up with a healthy total of 421-5 when the Men in Blue declared. Virat Kohli looked a bit scratchy and not at his absolute best but still hung in there to make 76 off 182 balls with five fours.

The Men in Maroon were not able to improve their first innings performance as they collapsed for 130 in the second innings. Ashwin wreaked havoc in the second innings as he picked up 7-71 in his spell of 21.3 overs. Ravindra Jadeja picked up five wickets in the match. Ashwin in total had 12 of them to his name. India ensured that they had to bat only once. Going to Trinidad, the Men in Maroon will have to find ways to counter the Indian spinners there.
