The 2022 Women’s Asia Cup is all set to begin on October 1. The tournament which will be played in the T20 format this year will see seven teams competing against each other in the battle for Asian supremacy. Teams participating in the competition include India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, UAE, Malaysia and Thailand. A total of 24 matches will be played in the tournament across 16 days.
The mega event will be hosted by Bangladesh, who will play the tournament opener against Thailand. India will also kickstart their campaign on the same day against Sri Lanka. All the matches will be played at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium and Sylhet Outer Cricket Stadium.
