Women’s Asia Cup 2022: 3 Indian players who can win the player of the series award

The Women’s Asia Cup 2022 is scheduled to start on October 1st and ends on October 15th. The multilateral women’s tournament will take place in Bangladesh.

Bangladesh will try to defend the title in their home conditions. This edition will be a 7-team tournament that will feature the likes of Malaysia, Thailand, and UAE.  It will be an interesting tournament to watch.

1. Smriti Mandhana–

The left hander was among the runs for the women in blue in the recently just concluded one day series against England. She scored 181 runs at the top of the order. She has been in good white ball form and will look to continue the same in the Asia Cup.

In T20Is, she has been in good touch and has scored 2303 runs at an average of 27.09 and at a strike rate of 122.63. She has scored 17 fifties and has been the torchbearer for India in terms of scoring runs at the top of the order.
