On Monday, Inter Miami lost to FC Dallas in a game that saw a clueless play from the star players. The likes of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez were not even close to their best, which cost Miami the match. In the ongoing season, Inter Miami are yet to score a goal, which is a bit bizarre considering the talent pool the champion side has.

Apart from the talent pool, Miami also has experience in their side. there are many great players like Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, and Jordi Alba in the lineup. But the fact that the stars have well past their prime has meant that Miami could not get past the line in the match. both the players missed a lot of opportunities to score a goal in the match.

Suarez in particular was very poor as he missed three chances, and a huge chance could not be converted into a goal. In the match, Luis was able to finish only 12 out of the 23 passes and lost possession 14 times, which was poor. The Uruguayan star could secure an accuracy rate of just 52 per cent, which is quite poor for a player of his standards.

Fans furious with defence and senior players of Inter Miami

In the 2nd half, the likes of Messi, Alba, Sergio Busquets, and Suarez looked lethargic. As a result, the manager had to replace them with other players. In the 64th minute of the game, Messi, Suarez and Busquets were replaced by fresh players. The fans were not happy with the performance of the senior players in the game against FC Dallas.

The fans asked the club to pick better defenders to improve the gameplay. FC Dallas managed to hold the lead throughout the game which they got in the 3rd minute of the game. Jesus Ferreira claimed a brilliant strike in the third minute to give FC Dallas the early lead. The defence of FC Dallas was brilliant for the rest of the game and ensured that the side won the game in style.
