England and Pakistan played a highly competitive seven-match T20I match series in which England emerged victorious over Pakistan, winning it by 4-3. The series was played across two venues. The first four matches happened in Karachi, while the last three games took place in Lahore.

This was England’s first tour to Pakistan after 17 years. Once the match was over, Moeen Ali talked about the comparisons of the food on offer in Karachi and Lahorem, in the press conference. Ali wasn’t satisfied with the food in Lahore.

“The security has been obviously outstanding. Much more than what we had expected, and we got looked after really well. Foodwise, I have been a little bit disappointed in Lahore. Karachi was really nice,” said Moeen.

But, it’s fine, it’s been really nice obviously. It’s great but I find it a little bit disappointing this time”, he added.

Moeen Ali was at the forefront in England’s series win in Pakistan where he led by example with the bat.  He led the Three Lions very well on the field. The England spinner did not feel the pressure of touring Pakistan and was happy to lead the team in the country of his birth.

England aced the conditions and used their attacking approach to their advantage with the bat which allowed them to get to big totals right through the series. England did a lot of experimentation in playing XI right through the series and the tactic paid off. The big positives for England in the series have been players like Harry Brook, Dawid Malan, and Ben Duckett, who fares pretty well in the series.
