The 3rd and final match between India and Australia took place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. The coin fell in India’s favour and they opted to bowl. Cameron Greeen literally pulverized the Indian attack and tore them to shreds as he scored a superb 52 from 21 balls with 7 fours and 3 sixes.
This innings laid the perfect platform for the Australians to go out and attack in the death overs if they could. Finch was dismissed early in the innings by Axar Patel. Steve Smith came out with the intention to attack but was foxed by the bowling of Chahal, who tricked him with a good flighted delivery.
Josh Inglis scored a quick-fire 24 from 22 balls with 3 fours and threatened to tee off but was dismissed by Axar Patel. The Indian spinner got the wicket of the dangerous Mathew Wade as well. When the score was at a 117-6, and it seemed that India had got a firm hold on this game, they were proved wrong by Tim David and Daniel Sams who smashed the Indian bowlers to all parts at the death again.
Sams provided good company to Tim David and scored a vital 28 from 20 balls with 1 four and 2 sixes. The star of the show was Tim David who literally obliterated the Indian bowling at the death and smashed anything that was within his range. Tt was an amazing innings of 54 from 27 balls with 2 fours and 4 sixes and it allowed Australia to get to a huge total of 186-7 in their 20 overs.
In the second innings, India got off to a dicey start loosing KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma early. But Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav pulled India back in the hunt by getting a 100 run partnership. Suryakumar Yadav was the star and amazed everyone with a brilliant 69 from 36 balls with 5 fours and 5 sixes.
It took a cool and calm Hardik Pandya to steer India at the end of the run chase who hit the winning boundary and scored a composed 25 from 16 balls with 2 fours and a six. They overhauled the Australian total and got to 187-4 while also maintaining a 100 percentile win record in deciders at home.
Twitter was abuzz. Let us take a look at the reactions here:

Very good from India. Lots of batting intent in that India vs Australia contest. Great to watch. . Suryakumar Yadav (SKY) has to be one the most phenomenally versatile batsmen in this format.
