WBBL 2022-23: Top three teams who could lift the trophy

Sydney Sixers have been the most consistent side in the WBBL with two titles to their credit.

Melbourne Renegades had three below-par seasons in the first three editions of the league. In the 2018- 19 and in 2019-2020 edition, they were in fourth place in both these seasons. Their best performance in the WBBL came in the 2021-22 edition when they came second in the points table.

Renegades also had the best players from Australia play for the franchise such as Sophie Molineux, Georgia Wareham, and Molly Strano. Their big foreign signings were Chamari Atapattu, Shabnim Ismail, Jemimah Rodrigues, Harmanpreet Kaur.
