Royal Challengers Bangalore are back to their winning ways after defeating Delhi Capitals by 23 runs in match number 20 of IPL 2023. However, an instance took place after the match that took the internet by storm. DC mentor Sourav Ganguly jumped the queue to avoid handshake with the RCB batter Virat Kohli when all the players and support staff from both teams were shaking hands with each other after the match.

There had been various reports of the rift between Kohli and Ganguly during his tenure as the president of the Indian Cricket Board. Kohli stepped down from the captaincy of the Indian T20 team in September 2021. After that, the cricket board sacked him as the ODI captain. There were rumours that Kohli took that decision under pressure of the Cricket Board.

Months later in January 2022, Kohli decided to step down as the Test skipper after a series in South Africa. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma took over the captaincy duties in all three formats. However, it looks like things are going right between Kohli and Ganguly even after more than one year of the controversy.
