Shubman Gill has been the talk of the town after his great show in the ODI’s against West Indies and Zimbabwe. He recently scored his first hundred in the 3rd ODI against West Indies, and he had a great series in Zimbabwe as well. But even after his amazing performances for India and having a great Indian T20 League for the Gujarat Titans, he could not find a place in the Indian T20I squad for the 2022 World Cup.

Shubman Gill is presently playing county cricket for Glamorgan in county cricket in England. He scored a superb 91 not out of just 102 balls, with 11 fours and 2 sixes in a rain-affected match against Sussex that was played at Hove. Gill is all about class and some of the strokes that he played in his innings left everyone in shock and awe.

He showed what he is capable of and played all his scoring shots all around the ground and pulverized Sussex on a rain-curtailed day. He played a gorgeous ramp shot off the bowling of the Pakistan all-rounder Faheem Ashraf. It got a lot of appreciation and applause on social media and the video has gone viral.

Shubman Gill used fast hands through the ball and gave a wonderful follow through after playing the ramp shot. He then nonchalantly punched gloves with the non-striker at the other end.

Here is the video

Shubman Gill showed his full potential and played two roles for Glamorgan throughout the innings. Before the first rain break happened, he played the role of slowly getting himself in and scoring the runs and forged a great partnership with the Glamorgan skipper David Lyod, who took the role of hitting the boundaries. But once the Glamorgan skipper departed, he just changed tactics and took the Sussex bowling attack to the cleaners. He added his last 70 runs in just 15 overs before play had to be stopped because of bad light.
