The riveting Bangladesh vs India first Test continued on Day 4. Chasing a massive Target of 513, Bangladesh openers resumed the innings on 42/0 and extended their partnership to 124. After finally getting the breakthrough after 46 overs, Indian bowlers began running through the Bangladesh batting. During the action-packed Day 3, wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant also put on display his quick glove work behind the stumps and dismissed Nurul Hasan.

The incident took place on the last ball of the 88th over bowled by Axar Patel. Patel bowled a flighted delivery that sharply turned and beat Hasan’s bat who was looking to play through the cover. While playing the cover drive, Hasan lost his balance as his backfoot came out of the popping crease. Seeing his foot out of the crease, Pant quickly collected the ball and completed the stumping in a fraction of a second.
